I stopped at the Biscayne National Park visitor center for a brief visit as I only had about an hour available. I walked through the indoor exhibits and learned a great deal about the bay and it’s flora and fauna. The staff were extremely friendly and provided a lot of information (and bug spray) about the park and activities available. The weather was rainy, but I did take a walk along the boardwalk and through the mangroves along a jetty to get better views of the bay. While a boat trip is preferable in Biscayne National Park, this was a nice place to stop considering I only had a little time available. Next time, armed with a better knowledge of the boat tours and snorkeling available, I plan to see more of this park.See more..
