Nice scenery and wild nature forest that traveller can enjoy during the boat trip . You can book in advance the boat or come directly, the boats alway available

Day trip or 2-3 day trip on Hoa Binh lake
Hi, The trip to Mai Chau Hideaway Lake resort can be started from Hanoi to Ngoi Hoa port instead of Thung Nai area. But the Thung Nai is still the main port for all departure to others tourist site on the Hoa Binh lake

It took us 2 hours driving by new express wy from Hanoi to Thung Nai (Hoa Binh). On arrival, embarked a boat (basic) to enjoy with 5 hours to explore Hoa Binh lake. During this time you can visit caves: Hang Mieng, Thac Bo and visit village of Tay or Muong ethnic people. The scenery around lake was fantastic: green stony islands floating on blue water under the blue sky. The lunch on boat was highlight of trip with local foods: fresh vegetables from the gardens, fishes from rivers, black pork from family... All was delicious. You also stayed at homestay at villages or overnight in camp.
