Great camping park

Camped in site 50 a pull through, level site. Adequate room. Laundry in the bathhouse. Lots of private shower rooms in our section. There are several campground sections some shadier than others. When a freaky storm popped up other campers went around closing awnings for campers that were not present but left their camper unlocked, so very thoughtful. Snow cone lady drives thru 3 times a day, what a treat! Reasonably priced. This park is on the Chickamauga Lake with great fishing, boat ramps, huge sandy beach roped off from boats with a concession stand. No lifeguards. Rangers patrol frequently. Lots of picnic tables and pavilions. Absolutely beautiful area.

The Park is always Clean and Peaceful. The Lake was like Glass in the Morning!
The facilities are well maintained and you feel safe and secure with the Ranger and Maintenance Crews always present throughout the day. The Sites are always clean and the Campers respect this piece of nature. We always feel the serenity of Chester Frost.

Quiet, beautiful park with very nice camping
Camped here for several days during the week. It was quiet and very delightful. Our site was huge and on the water. Relatively close to downtown Chattanooga. It would be helpful if the park provided dog waste bags. There was dog poop in several places where irresponsible pet owners thought only about themselves.
