Brilliant experience in country park
Brilliant country park and well managed. Beautiful scenery. Paddle boarding and other water sports are at very reasonable cost. Nice café/snack area and even a beached area that is very secure (extra cost). Lovely picnic areas and you can even bring your own barbecue coals to cook your own picnic in communal barbecues. Not overwhelmingly busy even in peak Summer but great atmosphere. Well managed park with great security. Young staff at water activity centres are excellent. Highly recommended for a good day of activities in summer especially.

Inland seaside haven
We stumbled across this on a trip to Beauvais and we were very impressed with the facilities. Beautiful countryside, lovely clear lake, wonderful circulatory walk and a good range of activities for all the family. Although it wasn't hot when we went (23 degrees), the sun was out and we made the most of the artificial beach. This charged €2.50 to use but well worth it as the area was secure and we let out under 5s play without any stress. A nice shelf into the lake meant that you could paddle quite far out, although a little cold! Highly recommended.

Nice Area to cool down on a hot day
Nice, safe place to enjoy the nature with reasonably priced snacks, drinks, and games. The day we went a storm was brewing and they refused us entry to swimming and boating as they were taking security measures getting everyone out of the water. We were still able to walk around the lake.
