Nice place for hiking and not tough for children, get some candies or little toys for you little ones (a secret box is there)

    Nice walk, interesting.
    There is a well marked trail off South Shaker road. The trail divides at several points - yellow marks or blue (steeper). The top of the hill was a Shaker worship area with historical information posted. A portion of the trail is fairly steep although the whole trail feels a bit over a mile.

    Interesting Shaker history and a lovely walk
    This was a Shaker worship site back in the 1800's. There is a small parking area on South Shaker Rd and the trail leads in from there to the top of the hill where the Shakers held their ceremonies. There are some signs describing this at the trail head and at the top of the hill. It is a very pretty area to walk. Not too strenuous but there are some roots and rocks on the trail.
