Irresponsible and unfriendly service
I'm sorry to say but I've never had such a bad experience before. Staff was rude and impatient and didn't like me from the get go because I wanted to try a shortboard without having a proof that I'm a good surfer. I'm not a good surfer, but I had quite some experience with longboards before, that's why I'm renting a board with instructor to try something new. The negative attitude culminated with my instructor driving away with other two students, leaving me on the beach behind a rock pier where I was surfing without any notice. I was lucky enough to find some helpful random people not far down the beach that called the company to pick me up. I know that not everyone has to be overly friendly, but a courtesy usually goes a long way, and there was unfortunately none in this situation. If their attitude wasn't straight up rude it was unprofessional and irresponsible.
