玉带滩 Guinness world record for narrowest island beach
Guinness world record for narrowest island beach between river and sea, according to tour guide. V interesting indeed to see the contrast. Interesting geography. Really hot. Many stalls selling pineapples, sunhats. Many beach motorbikes. Don't get ripped off like us. Shld be rmb50 for 30min, 2 pple on it. Gd to try the bike to go around. Charged us 100. V serious touting esp the photographers who really irritated me alot.

What a place next to the beach
Just on the beach off Boao we came across this sea food restaurant called Sea Story. The decor, decking etc was all built from recycled fishing boats and littered around it were old boats put to rest.Unfortunately our schedule didn't allow for a meal but we stopped for a drink and took some photos. If I come back to Hainan I will definitely give this place a try.
