Beautiful nature

Visited via a tour, boat was very quiet allowing us to enjoy the scenery and listen to the bird etc. Visited a few coves where we kayaked and swam. Water was very cold for me, a bit murky and has lots of corals etc so couldnt walk onto the beaches etc. But amazing, loved it.

    A must do in Vietnam
The heritage sites in the world we’ve visited were very beautiful but super overcrowded. This Lan Ha bay Overnight trip is a way you can go outside of the crazy day tourist hours & city so I would recommend. The meals, services, schedule, activities, kayaking, swimming…were excellent!

    Stunningly Beautiful
Let's be honest. Everyone has heard of Halong Bay - but really the geography here is equally beautiful across many bays and hundreds of miles. Lan Ha bay is easily accessed from Cat Ba island and is accessible in many ways. We asked our hotel to book us a day cruise. We paid about $40 (USD) per person which is high. But, we had our own boat, kayaks, complete privacy, an INCREDIBLE fresh seafood lunch cooked for us on the boat, and access to small and isolated beaches. But, you can do much cheaper tours on larger but still nice boats. You can also extend the experience into multi-day/night trips on any number of boats. But, it was great to explore the floating villages and the private beaches with much cleaner water than Halong Bay.
