    Potential
This museum has lots of great resources, but doesn't seem to have the money to keep up their displays. They are growing, with a new KTX exhibit being set up, but much of their displays are in need of attention. It seems pretty obvious that they cater to the schools, and also that the student traffic has done it's damage. Many of the displays show damage that suggest children have gotten into them. Still, at the cost, this is a lot of fun. Would like to see KORAIL drop some large funding into this as it has lots of space for further development. Some of their collections are quite extraordinary.

    train aficionados will like it
We went to the train display and found it to be a little less than I liked. I think that if you have a genuine interest in railroading you may have a great day. The engineering of the time and the special cars will peak your knowledge. After the museum we went to an unusual restaurant in the city of Si-Hueng. This had food steamed inside a hollow bamboo. There was beef, pork, duck, chicken, shrimp, octopus, squid, and served in the bamboo. You must call ahead to make reservations for this specific meal. Phone 031-435-2277. They don't have an English speaker so get a Korean to assist you. You will be pleasantly surprised.
