Peaceful place. Rent a bicycle if you don't wish to walk a lot.
Dumulmeori is a place two water paths meet. It's on the island of Yangsu-ri. Good for a day trip. How to reach: It's 20~30 min walk from Metro Gyeongui-Jungang Line 'Yangsu' Station. There's a bus if don't wish to walk to reach. - The island is huge and you'll have to walk a lot. Otherwise, you can rent a bicycle. There are some rental shops in Yangsu-ri. - It's quiet and peaceful. Good to visit all year long. Especially in summer, you'll see amazing lotus flowers. - Fun to watch ducks and herons on the water. - Lotus hotdog is really famous. Try it for 3,000 won. - As well as Dumulmeori, there are other various attractions on the island such as Yangsuri Traditional Market, lotus garden, strawberry picking, eco park, photo zones, restaurants and so on. Semiwon Garden is close and fun to visit together.

good for a day trip
I went in Nov 2019 during my solo autumn trip.. it is about 1.5h away from Seoul and connected by the gyeonggi-jungang line. Yangsu station is nearest to Dumulmeori however I was visiting bukhangang railroad bridge before that so I alighted at Ungilsan station instead and took a slow leisurely walk over. Dumulmeori is iconic for beautiful scenery esp the place where 2 rivers meet behind the frame. Very good place to relax and take photos however it can be quite crowded. There was always a queue to take photos at the frame. I was there in autumn and the weather was perfect for walking. You can visit to Semiwon garden which is nearby too.

Good place away from busy city!
Was there after strawberries pickings at nearby farm. Was a small park with some cafes. We went there just for some photo taking shots. As it was winter, the lotus flowers in ponds were withered. The water had also started to freeze. Nevertheless,the season couldn’t hide the facts that the scenery from here should be great during other seasons. We were here by joining customized Day tour guide. As such it saved us a lot of time & ease in traveling with group of seniors & teens with lots of diverse activities.
