Great small museum!

This museum is housed in an old and beautiful building and is literally filled with interesting items that were commonly found in small drugstores over the past century. There is so much to see inside the museum that one could spend numerous hours enjoying the displays. The adjoining Apothecary Garden is a delight to see as well.

    Great collection
Loved visiting this museum in historic Guthrie. Great territorial architecture with tin ceiling and old-time soda fountain. Wonderful collection of old bottles, medicine, equipment & photographs. Definitely recommend stopping in when you’re nearby & also check out the apothecary garden outside with plants and herbs complete with signs explaining what their medicinal properties ?

    Field Trip
I'm currently in school to become a dental assistant. Our class met up in Guthrie for a field trip. It was really interesting and a little mind boggling to see the old medications and instruments used. Really not all that long ago. It makes you really appreciate how far the medical field has come along. Really interesting small museum. It is worth the stop!
