Great Night Cruise of Guilin
Travel is incomplete without a night cruise of these 2 pagodas in Shan Lake. Not only is Guilin famous for all its natural scenaries and rocks, China has cleaned up their waterways. Our cruise passed through crystal clear rivers where we can see fishes and rocks at the bottom of these rivers.

Visit at night
We went on a Friday night at around 8 p.m. Rain had just stopped so we had the place almost to ourselves. Went to Moon Pagoda and then took the underground walkway to Sun Pagoda. Climbed to the top of both and took great pictures of the reflections in the lake. Nice area to visit to and in walking distance from many hotels!

Great by night
Take a walk along the li river and then around the shanhu lake to see the two pagodas beautifully illuminated by night. It is really worth it. You will see a lot of locals as this is one of their favorite strolls in the evening.
