Beautiful Scenery & Boat Ride
u have 2 options to visit this, either buy a guided tour which is a 4/5 hour ride down the entire river or a second tour which is an hour boat ride with only the main high lights of this river & the moutain scene that is on the 20yuan Note. or u can do a private tour yourself and but just the boat ride at teh end of the Liu River We opted for the half day trip that finished at Liu River. And the Moutains that are captured on The 20 Yuan Note. Beautiful Ride. Great Scenery. the boat ride took about an hour max. Keep a 20 Yuan Note in your person & do what most Chinese Touris did & hold it up when u pass the Mountains On the Note & snap a pic. All in all a great tour well worth it A must see i say

Day Tour to Lijiang and Cultural Village
Purchased this trip for 280yuan with a tour broker after reaching guilin north railway station at 5am early Nov18. Tour covers car transfer from railway station to xiangbishan(elephant trunk hill), riyueshuangta(twin pagodas)(both courtesty of our tour broker), transfer to a bus at guilin heading to li river, li river cruise with raft ticket, li river cruise with passenger boat ticket, bus ride to lunch, bus ride to cultural village, cultural village entrance ticket and bus ride back to either yangshuo city or guilin city at your preference . Tour bus picked our luggage and us up at 7am from guilin and after 2 hours on the road we reach the li river harbour where we took a raft. The raft are able to accommodate 4 person and a raft paddler where we are able to enjoy the sceneries on the way. The highlights are probably the long swaths of mountain throughout the river journey. Weather is hotter than we would like however still bearable as the raft comes with cover on the top. After about 30min on the raft we reach another harbour where we got on a passenger boat with about 50 person capacity and continue our journey down the river. Before getting on the river we bought some tangerines which costs us about 10yuan. The passenger boat river ride comes with a photographer which also able to show us which mountain resembles what. We are able to take photos of mountain that resembles horse, sleeping beauty and so on. Various river caught seafood and drinks are served on vessel at our own cost. Food priced moderately at 20yuan per serving of deep fried squid and 10yuan for a beer. At about 1pm the river ride ends and we head over for lunch. Lunch at own cost. Ordered a serving of bamboo braised pork(40yuan), rice and water(4yuan per person). Portion ends up pretty substantial for 1 person. After lunch we head over to Dong Tribal Cultural Village for 3 hours of visit before heading back by bus to guilin. Reach guilin by 6pm. Definitely worth a visit.

Nature at its best
The place is paradise . Bamboo boats Water drifting and small water falls a must seen . take a guided tours with an English speaking guide .Avoid going there in the summer .
