A great engineering feat
I crossed this bridge twice a day for 2-1/2yrs as I lived in Humen and worked in Nansha. To be quite honest there is nothing there at the bridge (linking Nansha to Humen) and no access to foot passengers. There is even less in both nansha and Humen towns. If memory serves me right the bridge is 3.5km long and it crosses the very busy Pearl river. That's about all. Humen dirty and Nansha just about uninhabited as its expanded without people actually living there. Not a place to visit for culture or decent food

Avoid this bridge till construction is done
A great bridge but due to constant construction the traffic piles up esp since the heavy vehicles tend to be very slow going uphill and it is mostly no overtaking lanes on the bridge

A bridge with
a singular importance as it is the first bridge across the Pearl River upstream from Hong Kong's Tsing Ye bridge, a moderate distance. Geographically and historically, this is significant. Otherwise, it is another bridge.
