Interesting aviation history spot

I have seen the museum recently; although it is small, I spent some time there before going to the Mondorf spa. I found out a lot of things about aviation in Luxembourg, modern history, pilot women or famous personalities such as Roland Garros. I think it is worth a visit, before relaxing in the thermal waters of the town. There are also interesting things at the second floor, where visitors can find also more modern items and real lay-outs of planes. It is a small cultural point that will colour your visit in Mondorf-les-Bains.

    "museum" is an exaggeration
My understanding of a museum is a, usually, rather large place giving a fairly comprehensive overview of some kind of history. Some museums are on the small side but they still do the latter. This one does neither. Apart from the one plane (yes; one) the rest of the exhibits one could easily fit into a standard double garage and since there's no guide there is nothing that really brings the exhibits alive. So; unless you're a dedicated aeroplane engine part buff, you'll walk through it in 10 minutes or less. If you are in the location, the beautiful Mondorf park or the spa anyway then perhaps take the 10 minutes but definitely not worth a journey just to see it.
