Too beautiful for you
Heading out of Murghab we headed towards Shorkul and Rangkul lakes to check them out. Literally no one around when we arrived until I think someone from the town nearby caught wind of visitors and a few people can out to shake our hands and talk to us in friendly rapid-fire languages for a few minutes and offer to show us around. It’s a beautiful cold lake that we had a dip in and some amazing vistas of the unspoiled countryside. It’s too beautiful to see so don’t come here haha

Rang Kul - Chyrak Tash from Kyrgyz language means - the Lamp Stone.
We rented car from "Pamir Experience Tours([email protected]), from Murghab to Rang Kul it is about 65 km. till the center of Rang Kul. You can see here Chyrak Tash from Kyrgyz language means - the Stone Lamp. It is just on the way to Rang Kul.But will be interesting to spend night at the kyrgyz yurt, it is plus 17 km more, all together 65+17=82km to reach Rang Kul and yurt stay in Jol Boruluk, next day return to Murghab. In Murghab we stayed at the "TAALAY" home stay. Very hospitality owners, she very nice cook.
