Small but nice!
The museum is small but the building is nice. Thus place used to be a residential house for the Royal family. There is a permanent exhibition downstairs. The museum is located in the city park which is a lovely place to chill.

a Pahlavi museum
the Gorgan museum has been located in city park of in the center of Gorgan city(in Golestan province, in North of Iran).the town has 2 museums,one is this one in city park while the other one is in another street(Golzar Shohada square).the building of this museum goes back to Pahlavi Dynasty who built it as their accomodation center when coming to north of iran in the park to have more fresh air and view.moreover,the objects this little museum offers are: some statues of famous people of Gorgan whether from previous centuries or contemporary figures, some few objects of Pahlavi dynesty like plates,pots,etc. alongside with personal chamber of the King with furniture.just this.not bad in itself and worth a visit. p.s.: the other museum mentiones here offers plates,coins,etc. of more ancient times.

A good day can start by gorgan musem
Nice museum, in city center and between park, good for two hours, you can find ice cream and good pastry shop also you can buy your Gifts from gorgan market, even you can eat iranian kabab
