The Prince of Poetry and All Poets
In a beautiful and historical palace overlooking the river Nile, I had paid tribute many years back to the Egyptian prince of poetry, Ahmed Shawki The statue of the poet himself that stands still at the heart of the museum's gardens is always admired by all the visitors. Every corner of the historical building is a ‘verse’ that reminds the visitors and modern citizens that real art is a treasure, a value and a living history that informs a better future! To a historical Capital City and a street that is honoured by the romantic Poet of all times! Respect and appreciation to the Egyptian prince of poetry, to Ahmed Shawki and his appreciators! Because good art continues and will always continue to educate and inspire regardless!
