Big event, very nice

The annual Zwarte Cross festival, in Lievelde, Netherlands during July, is one of the biggest ticketed festivals in the Netherlands. Each year, almost 200,000 visitors attend this festival featuring music as well as motocross, stunts, theatre, and camping. The Zwarte Cross festival is the largest motocross event in the world! The four-day event will feature more than 200 bands on 27 stages, spread over 137 hectares of festival grounds. There are theatrical acts featuring poetry, literature, dance, cabaret, and comedy, and motocross races including Superclass, heavy-weight, 85cc, mopeds, and more.

    Expect the unexpected and enjoy a festival of fun, humor, music and surprising acts
    We went on a Sunday and expected a local festival with beer drinking youngsters. But to our big surprise it was a very relaxed crowd of young and old people. No harassment, joy, theatrical acts, a wide range of different music performances and a crazy parade of modified cars/bikes mixed with motorbike sports. Offcourse there were some negative press releases but that's a minority. Surely i will go back as 1 day is just too short to experience all the joy offered at the Zwarte Cross.

    English: Good festival, a lot of good music and events. Very loud though and a lot of drunk people. Expect your cloths to get dirty. They also spray water and very well shredded paper which stings your eyes and mouth. Besides that pretty fun. Dutch: Goed festival, veel goede muziek en evenementen . Zeer luide hoewel en veel dronken mensen . Verwachten dat je kleren vuil te krijgen. Ze spuiten ook water en zeer goed papiersnippers , die uw ogen en mond steekt . Daarnaast is best leuk .
