Attractive nature reserve
Nijmegen features several large parks and nature reserves, of which Heumensoord is one. It consists of 500 hectares (roughly 1,100 acres of woodlands and heath, which is crisscrossed by hiking trails, biking trails and equestrian paths. The area is very attractive and is noy overrun by visitors (at least it wasn't when we were there). definitely worth a visit.
