interesting place to visit during a cycle tour in the environment

former World War two hiding place with reconstructed huts. A interesting place to visit during a cycle tour in the environment. The 'village' is hidden in the Woods near a dead end road called 'pas op weg'. The signing to the village is good.

    Impressive!
Very impressed by the story of het Verscholen Dorp! I read the books written about this place, then it is more heart touching when you visit the place! Especially when some relatives were involved in this marvelous work!

HOW PEOPLE SURVIVED IN THE WAR OF 40-45
We went cycling a few weeks ago and came across "het verscholen Dorp" which is located in the middle of the woods out of sight so they could not be found during the war. You can enter the shelters and get a good idea of how life must have been then,
