Visiting the Blue Eye of Armenia!

"Lake Sevan" is the largest one in Armenia, covering nearly 1/6 of its territory. On its shores, public and private beaches, which are pretty busy on Armenia's warm Summers. On its Northwestern shore, the awesome 9th century "Manastery of Sevanavank", with its two impressive churches: "Surp Arakelots" (Church of the Holy Apostles) and "Surp Astvatsatsin" (Church of the Holy Mother of God). It is a beautiful lake, being locally known as the "Blue Eye of Armenia". Great pictures to take home! Enjoy!

    Lake Sevan review
One of the famous tourist places in Armenia. I didn’t expect a lot but I think they could’ve added more activities around other than a ride along the lake. I didn’t opt to take the ride, it is cheap but if you had a chance might as well experience. The lake looks nice take photos for.

    Second Highest Lake
Lovely lake with the option of taking a boat out on it. Nice view when you walk up to the top of hill. Eateries around the lake to sit and enjoy. Not sure about swimming but imagine we could have if our guide had told us we were going there.
