Interesting private collection

It is an old Antep House converted to a museum. Walking distance from the castle. Quite a large collection from 3-5 AC. Also interesting jewellery collection. Too many precious archeological findings exhibited in small area. Not only beautiful glass objects (perfume bottles, medical and pharmaceutical items) but as well as pottery, jewels, coins .... A small tea & coffee shop is located in the terrace. Do not miss it!

lovely small museum
If you are interested in glass this is well worth a visit. It's a very extensive personal collection, and presented in a simple, attractive way. There are some amazing pieces in the collection, including some interesting ancient glass medical instruments.

Relatively Interesting
This city has an inflation of museums... they are everywhere and unfortunately very few of them are successfull and at satisfactory level. This glass museum is relatively interesting: you can not only see a private glass collection but also watch glass artists shaping the glass on the spot. Located at an old Antep house, the museum has also a lovely court where you can have a short break. This place definitely does not worth a special visit but in case you have time to spend in Gaziantep and have seen major spots, then you can consider coming here.
