a well done Museum all about the history of food in Turkey!

a nice museum about the food and culinary traditions of Gazientep and Turkey. it is set in a small traditional home and has a ton of information everywhere from food origins to the utensils used for cooking. worth a quick visit.

    One of the Various Museums in Antep
    There are way too many museums in Antep and very few of them are good. This one is among the moderately acceptable ones. It's about the traditional culinary culture of the city. It's quite small but informative. Yet, all the information is in Turkish, there are no explanations in English, so it hardly appeals to international tourists. It takes around 30 minutes to visit it. In case you have time to spend, this museum might be interesting to visit.

    Decent potential - needs more work
    Basically a cultural anthropological museum revolving around the local cuisine. I had high expectations mainly because the food culture is so rich in Turkiye, but somehow the museum left me wanting more. You'll learn a thing or two for sure, but it would be nicer if they had more written documentation about local dishes and its evolution. It has potential.
