Good views of the island

Great views from the top, over to the ferry harbour and to the north coast of the island. Definitely worth the €3 entry fee. There’s also a small gift shop. You don’t have to be fit to climb to the top.

    Landmark
    The red lighthouse is one of Vlieland‘s landmarks and located at a pittoreque location, on a hill, with nice views of the (wadden)sea and the village. Its nice to see it from nearby at least once when visiting Vlieland.

    Nice walk, nice view, but closed for repairs when we were there
    We went there, climbed up, the view over the island was great, but we couldn't actually make the final climb up the ladder, it was closed for repairs, still a nice area and a must visit..
