Very nice boattrip that's worth repeating
Very nice boattrip next to the coast of Ameland. Good explaination of the island and things to see. During the trip you can buy drinks or something to eat. The appeltaart is delicious! The guestwife came to us and could tell us a lot about the seals and what age they have. A boattrip that is worth repeating!

Hospitality!
You will be greeted with a smile and a friendly word by Adinda as you embark the boat. Dogs are welcome, they even get some fresh water aboard the boat. Captain Mario likes to crack a joke or two, in Dutch and German. Kids can go and play in the 'belly' of the boat. There are drinks and snacks available in the clean and cozy indoor sitting area. Prices are very reasonable. The boat gets quite close to the seals. Plenty of time to takes pictures or just stare back at them. I'm sure they find the humans just as entertaining... Go for a ride with De Zeehond, you won't be disappointed!

Island history and lore makes for a first rate experience
enjoyed the 2 hour boat tour and seal viewing with personalized translation by the owner who was an exchange student in Texas. As the only english speaker on board got a very insightful tour of the island . This is a great tour when the weather is ifft which it often is and is very relaxing aboard the luxurious small boat.
