Good beach-side cafe
A good lunch spot on the wide open beaches of Terschelling. This large beach cafe serves all manner of food, from simple sandwiches and burgers to pasta and salads. It's good food but not great - you're not coming for a gourmet experience but to enjoy the view. Decor is 50s 60s (hence the name) but it's not over the top. Service was friendly and very efficient (we sat near the kitchens and watched with awe at one waitress who was so quick and efficient yet not a hint of rushed panic about her - quite remarkable to watch someone so good at their job!). There's little else close by but I wouldn't be tempted to look - this meets a daytime eating or drinking need perfectly.

nice views, nice food, nice people
We went there for dinner and had very good time. The Food was nice and the service too. The view is fantastic and after dinner you can go for an evening stroll at the beach.
