Excellent getaway
Messina Hof Winery is a wonderful place to get out of city or to spend a weekend getaway. The place has a winery, tasting room, restaurant and unique bed-and-breakfast villa. It was a pleasant experience, supported by friendly personnel and we definitely recommend trying any or all of Messina Hof! We suggest taking a wine tour – it is not only educational but also you get a chance to try several different wines. We were surprised to find out that Messina Hof produces variety of wines, easy to satisfy any wine connoisseur. Isabella was our amazing and fun tour guide; we laughed, learned and tried some tasty wines. Sarah at the tasting bar was a great help too! Restaurant has a great menu, paired with their exceptional wines. Villa has a distinctive European décor – Bavarian crystal chandelier upon entrance astounds you! Every room decorated in a different authentic theme, where in Texas would you find a bed made by monks or torches from a real castle! Friendly personnel (thank you Gene (unsur eof proper spelling) and her helper) ensured we are comfortable and addressed our needs. Sleep eye mask would be helpful for the sensitive sleepers. Continental breakfast conveniently served at the hallway. Clean and nice adults only family style hotel. Everyone (including owners) at Messina Hof Winery and resort are friendly, welcoming and made us feel like family!

Easy walk in locatiom
Laid back and easy spot to walk in to. Didn’t need reservations. Just buy a tasting per person and recieve 5 tokens/ tasting. We are from Grapevine, TX where there is also a Messina Hof, but was glad to hear there were three wines not served there. Enjoyed the heavenly hill and ended up going home with a bottle.
