Interesting and informative
This is a 3 year old sister winery to the Grape Creek Winery which is an original winery since the 80’s. The grounds are beautiful and the wine tasting was paired with delicious food tidbits that enhanced the wine flavor. Our wine connoisseur/guide Chuck was excellent. He was full of interesting facts and answered all of our questions. The wines were wonderful and the food pairings were absolutely perfect for each wine selection. We so enjoyed our time here and would recommend this to anyone. For the experience you are standing the entire time and there’s a TV screen behind the counter to watch short clips explaining wine production. Would have been nice to have bar stools for added comfort. The other disappointment is that unless you get a “free” membership, you can not order any wines. The membership is free but you have to commit to buy 4 bottles in November with the membership which comes to around $200. You are not allowed to just purchase a bottle of wine to bring home. They push the membership a bit I felt. You can not sit outside on their patio or in an outside restaurant where they serve appetizers if you don’t have a membership. Would maybe be nice to go to a winery where you can sit and enjoy the winery and buy something to bring home. All that said, the 3 of us fully enjoyed ourselves. Took about 1 1/4 hour total.

Great wines and feel!
I did a weekend girls’ trip to Fredericksburg with two friends and Heath Sparkling Wines was my favorite stop. You have to reserve and pay in advance, but having a scheduled reservation system keeps this place from being overcrowded. The aesthetic is cool and modern and classy, and the wines are EXCELLENT. They surpassed my expectations. This will be a place I return to on future trips. Kathy was my group’s tasting ambassador and she was nice and knowledgeable. The personalized attention was a treat.
