    Almost done
Went to the Natick end yesterday and to the Framingham end today. Natick end still ends in a mess, but signage and benches are very nice. Framingham end sort of peters out and has no signage and fewer benches, but still a nice walk either way.

    Lots of potential
Saw the bridge over Route 9 now had walkers on it so we parked near the AmVets and got on the trail and headed south towards and beyond Route 9. Lots of benches and nice fencing up to the Route 9 overpass as you pass the lake on both sides, and every tenth of a mile there is a marker so you know how far you have gone (we started at the 1.6 mile mark). Good signage explaining the history of the trail and of Natick along the route, too. Once you cross route 9 it is more of a paved path in sort of a gully, but the markers continue along with the path until you get to Navy Yard Field (playground) on the right, where signs tell you the trail ends. You can see the Right of Way continuing towards Cochituate street so we went on as the trail got muddy and less pretty, and then you reach MBTA/Keolis warning signs so we turned around and headed back to Mechanic street and went on route 27 to Natick Center. You can see they are building a new train station west of 27, hopefully that finishes soon so the trail can continue. Next time we will take the trail towards Framingham and explore there
