If you love craft beer, you've got to go!

Sailfish Brewing Company opened up in April of 2013 in downtown Ft. Pierce in the 'Edgartown' Neighborhood. We started on a small 1 1/2 barrel brewing system and soon upgraded to our current 3 barrel system. We soon realized that due to the demand and tremendous support from our fans that we would have to expand again! In February of 2017 we opened our new taproom for our 20 barrel system right in the heart of downtown at 130 N Second St just a few blocks from our original facility.

    Nice lunch with good beers
Stopped in with bro-in-law to enjoy a beer or two and check out the brewery. Lisa was very helpful and gave us plenty of options and explained the beers. We enjoyed the Tag & Release brown ale and also enjoyed the Fish Whistle pale ale. I found the Trigger porter a bit on the sweet side, but I find lots of porters too sweet for my taste. They made a terrific Margherita flatbread and the beer battered mozzarella sticks were also very good. The food was fresh, quick and delicious. Tap room is very inviting and we sat along the bar. Took home a souvenir in the form of an unfilled crowler ( I think it was $1 or $1.50) with their logo on it to use as a drinking vessel. Very cool.

Great Place For Lots of Different Things
This is an open air venue. There are outside tables on Second Street, inside tables, large bar, high top tables, open seating with darts and games. You can watch the craft beers brewing through a glass wall. A variety of pizzas are available from a separate station where you can also order sodas. The first time I was here there were hundreds of people milling around because it was a popular fundraiser. The layout makes it easier to circulate than most places. On another visit there was a 'welcoming committee' by education vendors at the start of a new school year. This visit was just two of us. On all these occasions the staff was friendly, helpful and responsive. Located in the heart of Downtown Fort Pierce it offers convenience to weekend activities (Farmer's Market every Saturday morning), shopping, browsing, special events. Don't count on more than pizza but do count on a good time and lots of beer choices. An artist was creating a painting on this visit. Sometimes there's music or other entertainment.
