A peaceful beach that is not too crowded!

I picked the wrong afternoon to visit this beach since storms were coming, but if you are looking for a pretty beach without the big crowds, this would be the beach to check out.

    Favorite Beach Days
    Since my husband I love to go to the beach in our RV for the day, we really love this beach because it has 2 parking spaces specifically designated for RV's! Unfortunately, many days we can't get one of these 2 spaces because, inexplicably, cars occupy them, even though there are numerous empty car spaces available! Otherwise, I would have rated Avalon Beach Park as excellent. The parking area at Avalon is right alongside the beach, so it's very convenient as most parking areas are separated from the water by sand dunes and/or trees and shrubs. Since I have a disability, even if I can't walk to the beach on a given day, I can still enjoy the ocean from the RV if we can park at one of the 2 RV designated spaces.
