    Scenic, cozy, and delicious!
Such a fantastic visit to Chateau Wright! It feels like relaxing on a beautiful back porch with family. Audrey is knowledgeable about the winery and their wines (which are impressive in their own right) and still manages to make you feel special even when the place is packed. And the food truck — DELICIOUS! Do yourself a favor and make the trip out to Chateau Wright.

Make time and plan a stop...you'll be happy you did
We stopped by because we love to try out local breweries, distilleries, and wineries. It's a beautiful little drive just outside Fort Davis so make sure you allow time for a stop when visiting. It doesn't have the beauty that some of the other wineries have that we've been to but don't let that change your mind. These folks are doing all of their own work in constructing various buildings and rooms around the place so it takes them a little longer but it doesn't change the wonderful wine and the great food and treatment we received while we there there. The young lady that served us is straight from England and her husband will make any food you order. They're traveling workers and just a delight to talk to. Our wine was great and we all found something we enjoyed. It wasn't busy while we were there but for it being in the middle of nowhere, there was a slow and steady stream of visitors. When we're back in the area, we'll certainly plan another stop and hopefully we can stay a little longer then.
