    Green Market/Farmers Market
While visiting with friends in Delray Beach, Florida, we took time to travel to Palm Beach for the Green Market. The "green" market is what we call a "farmer's" market in the northeast. Well worth the half hour ride from Delray. Parking is a bit of an issue! Just bring along some patience and some good walking shoes and you should be fine. Of course you have to pay for parking everywhere. The market was delightful, clean, and a nice mix of produce, crafts and food. No need to find a restaurant for lunch because there is plenty of booths serving hot food. And if you like dogs, well, just grab a smoothie, fine a place to sit and watch the parade of dogs of all shapes and sizes. Not only were the dogs well behaved but their owners were as well. Then take a scenic drive and check out President Trump's Florida home, Maralago.

    Some good, some not
As farmer's markets go, this urban one is quite nice. Since we're in a hotel, we are limited in produce and food items for cooking, so landed on a basket of purple plums to augment some nutrition for the week. We actually sauntered over to the market in pursuit of CBD oil, which we found at a table manned by an family member-owner, who was very knowledgeable, and generous with samples. We purchased a full-spectrum hemp oil, and some face cream. We will keep you tuned in. We had some very bad oily croissants with greasy eggs, and ended up throwing them out. We so wished we had waited to find Aioli's booth, where we would have had superior croissants or bread. Next time we will know. We passed on gelato, because, good as it looked, we were a little iffy on ingredient quality. Again, we need to see it again. Still and all, visiting a farmer's market on a Saturday morning is always a pleasant experience.
