Thai temple for meditation.
Great place for meditation. The temple welcomes all visitors of any nationalities. The temple is very cool and quiet. Excellent food market during important Thai festival.

Beautiful Buddhist Temple and Wat half hour outside of Miami
Wonderfully built traditional Buddhist Temple, a Peaceful, quiet place to meditate and view a very traditional Thai style Buddhist Temple and Wat. Please be respectful, the Monks still live here and maintain the Temple and grounds. Take shoes off before entering temple. Inside re beautiful paintings and statues of the Buddha. Sit and enjoy the quiet solitude.

A Serene patch of land in the middle of Homestead
I had a long birthday week and had just gotten back from a 7 day cruise on Saturday. I was kind of upset about some things that happened and needed to center myself. My best friend who still lives in Miami had told me about it and she took me to Wat Buddharangsi on the Sunday. It was such an oddity to see this wonderful little piece of heaven in the middle of what used to be a primarily agricultural area. It was very peaceful and so pretty. Grounds were well kept and the statues were very pretty. The main temple was closed and I was unable to enter until someone went into a separate building and came back and opened the door. Not sure if they were just closed but I was able to enter and pray and when I exited they locked the door again. We sat around for a bit just listening tot he birds chirping and the breeze blowing. It was very relaxing and peaceful.
