Nice overview , learned some things, good selection of wines.
We went to this winery because they not only have sweet wines but import grapes to have bold reds also. We were pleasantly surprised how good the wine is. We did the free tasting with the tour then had the reserve selections for 5 dollars to try the petite Syrah and California cab. The petite Syrah was great and I ended up getting the cab from Monterey Definitely worth the stop.

OUGHT TO BE IN THE TOP TEN
If you like to taste wine I’d rate this in the top ten things to do in St. Augustine. The wine tasting is free for most wines, $5 extra for 3 others. The staff is universally friendly. The tasting is a little less formal than at other wineries: you’re issued one plastic cup to taste a variety of wines, but we’re not talking grand cru here. Their specialty is sweeter wines made with muscadine grapes, and with only a couple exceptions are priced below $15/bottle.
