Very Interesting

The "Medieval Torture Museum" reminds us just how much suffering humanity can inflict in the name of cause and justice when the right tools are placed in the hands of fanatics, madmen and tyrants. The exhibit fills more than 4000 sq. ft. Spend an hour here and you will better know the nature of fear. Are you brave enough?

    Interesting museum
We walked up during the busy New Years Eve weekend and were able to get right in around 2 pm. We toured the medieval torture museum and did not add on the micro art gallery. We asked for the audio tour because we had read it was good and I’m so glad we did. The audio tour was really helpful in learning about all the disturbing exhibits. When we bought our tickets there was no mention of an audio tour being available, so you have to know to ask for it. We took our 15 and 17 year old kids and they enjoyed it but I would not recommend taking younger kids. The content is not appropriate and the exhibits are graphic.

    Fun stop
This was a nice museum to walk through, gruesome displays, but that is what these torture devices are. I wish there was more information written by each display but still a great experience. There is no parking at the museum, it is pay to park public parking, so make sure to spend some time looking at everything in this area.
