Nothing like a beautiful sunrise to start your day!
Not many people like waking up early, either on vacation or the weekend. Everyone enjoys their sleep in time. However, you will want to make this an exception. Pay $1.00 to walk on the pier or $4.00 to fish all day is a deal. The pier is 1320 feet long and you will feel like you hit heaven by the time you reach the end and look out into the water and the sky. Then await for the sun to start coming up out of the ocean it will be the best calgone moment you ever had. Also, they have full bathroom facilities, concession and bait shop. This pretty much gives you what you need and want. Even on a cold morning you will be glad you got up early just to start your day off in the right direction. You won't have any cares or worries as you listen to those waves below your feet, take in all the sights and watch that beautiful orange ball turn into a bright light high above you. If your in the area, go several times as each sunrise is different.

Great place to fish without a license
Since moving back to the area in 2012, we have made regular visits to the pier...Several times to fish, as it is one of the few places you can go without a license, & only cost a few dollars per person...Other times we will go, frequently bringing out of town guests, to just stroll down the pier ($1 p.p.)...We have often spotted dolphins, & it's always a good time :)
