An Opportunity to Learn How Beautiful Art is Created
Working with Geoffrey Smith and his staff, we organized a group visit to his Studio and Gallery at 4545 Dixie Highway in Stuart. In addition to giving a tour of his studio and the various beautiful sculptures and paintings on display, Geoffrey gave a presentation about why and how be became the artist he is, undoubtedly one of Stuart's most recognized artists. He showed us a 15 minute video that walked us through the creative process for his bronze sculptures. It was a terrific learning experience. Several members of our group have subsequently purchased one or more of his works. These purchasers feel a real bond with the artist and his work.

Beautifully Displayed
There is also a Geoffrey Smith Gallery on Osceola St. in downtown Stuart across from the Lyric Theatre. But if possible drive the few miles south to the artist's studio and gallery on A1A in Port Salerno. There is a long traffic circle on A1A just north of the intersection of Salerno Road and A1A. The studio is located in a small shopping center on the east side of A1A right along this long traffic circle. The signage is very tasteful not ostentatious so keep an eye out. Mr. Smith's work is outstanding. A piece was selected as a gift from the US Government to the Pope during President Trump's visit to the Vatican. Much of the work is of wildlife. It varies from massive pieces to small dainty objects. All of the casting is done in Montana. Mr. Smith oversees and approves each piece. He is very exacting. Often Geoffrey Smith will be at the studio. He is friendly, warm and down to earth. His work is beautifully displayed.
