    Dog friendly “Fountain of Pooch”
We visited during July 4th weekend, and while the fountain of youth itself was underwhelming the staff at the park were not. We brought our dog with us and were pleasantly surprised to see that the staff were extremely friendly to him. Almost every employee we encountered stopped and asked about our dog! There were dog water bowls throughout the park for him and he was welcome in the shows. The price of entry to the park is a little pricy for what it is but you can tell they are trying to make it worth it. The friendly staff really made the experience!

    Very enjoyable and educational!
My wife and I went to the Fountain of Youth and had a great time. This is a beautiful place that had wild Peacocks wondering about and educational and very interesting stories. We tried the Fountain of Youth water and "Spoiler Alert" it doesn't work. There are exhibitions of firearms, crossbow and cannon fire as well as the story of the Indians that were living on the lands when Ponce De Leon arrived. It is very much worth the cost of admission and I would expect to spend about two hours here enjoying the grounds and the marsh walk.
