We came to the campus to see the lion and loved this place
This has to be one of the most beautiful campuses we have ever seen in the United States. We stopped at Jimmy Johns and they told us about the lion, so we meandered down that way. We arrived on campus and looked behind the fountain as directed and found this giant lion enclosure. What a Camus, what a campus. I’m not sure about the academics here, but it’s really a beautiful place.

A Great college/university consideration!
Whether you are looking at a college to attend or just to visit, the University of North Alabama is a great option. UNA is a beautiful campus and the city of Florence and surrounding cities of Sheffield, Tuscumbia, and Muscle Shoals offer great experiences, culture and food. The beautiful TN River gives exceptional views and great for fun activities.

University of North Alabama
This university has a great track record for helping its students succeed. It’s faculty is outstanding and the staff and college administration work hard to put students first. It has a low student per classroom ratio, which allow instructors to spend quality time with students on learning and research projects. As I like to tell parents, “You can get an Ivy League education and campus at a fraction of the cost.” They have some nice places to eat on and near campus, too!
