Great experience, fantastic presenation
Wow, we had low expectations, after driving around the Co-op in the freezing January rain. But the mound was there, and the museum is quite an amazing experience. As long time archaelology buffs, we have been to many mounds and small sites. But this was by far the best and most well done of any site we have visited. It leads you in and carries you through the time periods, giving displays of the artifacts and explanations of the time periods in the best way we have seen it done. privilege to meet and discuss the exhibit with one of its creators. Kudos to the city of Florence for preserving and presenting this Native American site so very well. So many of these types of sites were just demolished as the towns grew, but this one is worth seeing!

Educational
The museum is small and doesn't take a long time to go through, so don't think that you'll be overwhelmed or bored. It's very interesting, hands on, and educational. The mound itself ,outside the museum, is the real draw and it is absolutely worth seeing.
