Love For-Mar!

When there is not a pandemic, they have wonderful programs. We have been pretty bored since we cannot go many places during this time. We go to For-Mar a couple times a week to walk the trails and enjoy nature. You may see deer, turkeys, geese, frogs, turtles, snakes chipmunks and more on your visit if you’re looking! No pets allowed. There is also a tree house that was featured on tv but once you’ve seen it a couple of times, it’s not that exciting. We go mostly to look around the pond. There are also a couple of bridges.

    We love For-Mar!
One of the few nice things to do in Flint and it is free. Get away from the run down houses to enjoy the outdoors.

Wish I could have seen it from the inside of the playhouse, but I just never made it in time
This place is really nice. You do have to make a request for them to open up the playhouse, because they don't just keep it open due to the pandemic, but they are more than happy to during business hours. It is a very nice view from the outside still. I'd recommend if you have small kids or small pets to stay near them because there are big vultures in the area. Parking lot is a nice size. There's a lot of handicap spots, especially by the welcome center. There are picnic tables, walking trails, and there's a playground. They have porta potties as well. There's a gift shop nearby too, that offers a nice variety of souvenirs that are very affordable. They have porta potties as well.
