Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad, Michigan, United States
4.5 (338 reviews) Tuesday: Spent Ranking #2 in Flint Historic Sites
Stopped on a whim
Traveling from Detroit to Traverse City we just found this place on a trip advisor search. What a gem! We all enjoyed the village, the friendly people there and a lovely late afternoon train ride. Genesee County should be commended for a wonderful historic park!

Well-worth the visit
We spent a very pleasant 3 hours doing the train ride and exploring. A wonderful place to take the kids to see what life was like 100 years and more ago. The people doing the demonstrations corn mill, (blacksmith, apple press, etc.) were very friendly and informative, as well as the guides in the buildings. The signage on the way there is practically non-existent, so be sure you have a good idea on how to find it. This little gem should be advertised more. We just happened upon it looking online.

Delightful Historic Village & Railroad
We love historical villages and this one was absolutely delightful. They had great demonstrations from friendly artisans in period clothing. Many of them I had not seen before from visiting many other similar places. The train ride was on a steam train and one of the best - included for only a few dollars more than admission. Just a lovely afternoon spent here. Very family friendly.
