Beautiful bronze statues detailing automotive pioneers!
So you can easily see these all on the street, and most of them are in one paved square along the sidewalk. They explained of course about some well-known pioneers, as well as some lesser-known. I'm pretty sure they spent a pretty penny on these, and if you are into cars this is a must do. It's neat to learn about some inventors that I never heard of, and how they contributed to something we take for granted everyday sometimes. Usually all we hear about is Henry Ford. Once I can find my pictures, I will post them.

New Bronze Statues
Newly installed in downtown Flint between Saginaw Street and the "flat lot" are life-sized, bronze statues of the "Automotive Pioneers". Click on the website link to find out more history about the statue project downtown, and read about the excellent "Back to the Bricks" festival, which is held every year in downtown Flint and the surrounding area.
