The Netherlands is famous with the dikes and locks. The Houtrib locks is a lock complex on the shipping route between Amsterdam and Lemmer or Urk, villages near Lelystad. It's one of the largest hydraulic engineering projects, separates the lake "IJsselmeer" from the lake "Markermeer". It's quite a busy lock .
