Often voted the best rock festival in the world, Rock Werchter is a four-day event that sees more than 150,000 people through the gates to listen to around 60 bands on three stages. If there’s one festival to attend over summer 2016, Rock Werchter is it.

    one of my favorite european festivals
    If you can I recommend you visit this festival. The camping situation is perfect, there are quite places if you want to find them and if you prefer more action you can find that as well. I did the early camping and found a nice quite place which is what I wanted. The festival hours are perfect too, in my opinion.

    Werchter Boutique
    Stayed in Leuven. 30 min bus ride to the festival site, then another 2 Km walk to the festival park. Through the security is easily.Big open area as you get through the entrance. Food and drinks are spread around the outside. Bring plenty of money as you can image it is not cheap. You have to buy vouchers/tickets to buy found and drink. Pintje in a plastic cup 3 euro small bottle of cola zero is same price. The return journey hole was very well organised by De Lijn, plenty of buses ready to get you back into Leuven.
