Nice balance between learning & pleasure.

Nice to learn how Jenever is made. Very friendly staff. At the time we went there (july 2021) there were a lot of pinballmachines in the museum, as a temporary exhibition. With the entrance ticket you get a free tasting at the end of the tour!

    For Liquor Fans
    An original distillery which became a museum. A nice experience with explanations about the process, also given in English (written). You will benefit the most from a guided tour, only available for groups. We were just a couple and soon enough got bored from the technical explanation. In the end of the "tour" we were directed to a bar where we could taste one of the many sorts of Genever (!) for fee, exploring some more with a few more shots (paid) ending the visit with some souvenirs. Luckily, the bartenders were VERY friendly and the lady even took us outside to show us the plant which the gin is based on, giving also a historical overview - this made the whole visit enjoyable and interesting :)

    Interesting museum.
    For 6 Euros you get a nice tour of the museum which is located in a pretty part of Hasselt. You get informed about the producting of "juniperus" and at the end you can taste a small glass .... Friendly staff at the entrance and also at the "bistro".
