I little bit of pleasure in a old town filled with history
As you drive thru Fitchburg you see the buildings that are a little worn but as soon as you walk thru the doors into the museum you walk into a different world and I will repeat a world class walk, the painting and the rooms are filled with life and joy for each wonderful painting and art work, I must see and be sure too take a hike in back of Burbank Hospital, as there are trials thru the Crocker woods that go up to the ponds on Ridge rd,, safe and a peaceful walk

Well Curated Boutique Museum of Art
This small museum has some fabulous treasures from Ancient Egypt, including many pieces on long term loan from Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts. This first gallery has interactive features and children’s features. Upper galleries in this tastefully restored mill features 20th century art , collected by two patrons ( Mrs.Norcross) on their travels to Western Europe and West Africa. The carved African masks and statuary are a sight to behold. They currently have a temporary exhibit of 19th Century lithographs by Winslow Homer, that are quite different from his well known paintings.
