Our tour group had a scheduled lunch break and rest stop at a small café overlooking the lake. Our guide explained that Morocco has experienced severe drought for three years, thus the Lake Meade-like receding waterline.

a nice place that rain missed to visit
a very nice place and space for an afternoon or morning time where you can picnic, walk, fish, eat, have barbecues, .... but unfortunately the lake has dried for the rain was not heavy in the past few years in this region.

nice lake
the place like a lot of Morocco need more care they could make this place gorges we came to ifran just for very short time so we didn't take any horses or boat but if you decide to come to ifran for more time with kids it maybe more fun I believe in winter this lake is frozen
